Come give skating a-go with free ice time as well as free helmet and skate rentals at the Downtown Community Arena. It’s located right next to Roger’s Place.

City of Edmonton hosts NYE

December 31 at 6-9pm
Inside the Federal Building + Alberta Legislature grounds

Join the fun inside the Federal Building for activities the whole family can enjoy, including live music, roving performers, games, lantern-making, a brand new light installation, and more!

The celebration continues outdoors on the Capital Plaza with main stage performances featuring ice carving, fire pits, and bannock-making. Fireworks run from 9-9:15pm.

Each day another chance to learn about winter and engage in activities that celebrate the colder weather, including making your own bonhomme de neige and finger weave a scarf to colour up your snowman.

Good Karma + Free Yoga

Sweet Kula Yoga is starting 2019 with a karma class in support of the Canadian Mental Health Association - Edmonton Region (CMHA). This is an all levels yoga class. Please bring your own mat and props as well as your family and friends.
