Drop-in Printmaking for Families

February 18 at 12-5pm
SNAP - Society of Northern Alberta Print-Artists

Get inky with your family at SNAP Printshop this Family Day! Bring along your kiddos, grandmother, uncle, cousin, step-sister, in-laws, or anyone you consider your family to screenprint an edition of fun illustrations. Pick from a wide range of illustrations and drawings made by local Edmonton artists and designers for your edition of screenprints. Then, use rollers, ink, lino blocks, and stamps to embellish and fill in your printed images to use as colouring pages. There will also be a colouring station set up if you wish to spend the whole day being creative and colourful!

It’s $15 per person (which gets you 3 prints to work with).

An Evening with Terry Crews

February 20 at 7pm
Edmonton Convention Centre

Terry Crews is a lot of things: an actor, athlete, author and artist. Audiences may know him as the NFL linebacker, the face of Old Spice and most recently as Sergeant Terry Jeffords on Brooklyn Nine-Nine. These are just some of the roles Terry is known for and now, in what is arguably his most important role yet, Terry takes on modern manhood. As an activist, memoirist and one of the silence breakers of the #metoomovement, Terry Crews has become a powerful voice in the conversation about what being a modern man is all about and the role men play in creating a safer world for women and girls.

All proceeds will support programs and services of the Alberta Council of Women’s Shelters.
